Lisa graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1989 and has worked at the Vale Veterinary Group since then. Lisa became a partner in the practice in 1997 and now has over thirty years experience in small animal practice. She has a particular interest in medicine especially the diagnosis and treatment of Chronic Kidney Disease in cats. In her spare time Lisa volunteers for Street Vet, a charity that provides free veterinary care for pets belonging to homeless people on the streets of Birmingham.

Viv graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2014. She has done a fair bit of travelling as a locum and found her passion in small animal surgery. She is keen to pursue further post graduate study in this area and is now studying towards a certificate in Veterinary Surgery. Along with her to join the Vale family are 5 year old “kittens” Berlioz and Lyra; adopted from the RSPCA during the first year of her career. Outside of work Viv enjoys needlework , she is an amateur crocheter / knitter and likes to experiment with her sewing machine every now and then. She also enjoys outdoorsy activity exploring the countryside .

I joined the practice as Head Nurse in January 2019, having spent the previous 6 months working as a Qualified Canine Hydrotherapist at a Rehabilitation Centre. I qualified in 2013, with a degree in Veterinary Nursing and Business Management, and have since worked at a busy Veterinary Hospital where I held the position of Head Nurse. I have experience in the nursing of many complex conditions, and also have experience working with exotic pets such as birds and reptiles. Outside of work, my menagerie includes 10 dogs, 3 British Short Hair Cats, an African Grey Parrot, Chickens and Ducks. In my spare time, I enjoy breeding, showing, and judging dogs (mainly Shih Tzu), and attending football matches.

Vicky completed her degree in Veterinary Nursing at Hartpury College and became a qualified RVN in 2010. Since then Vicky has gained experience at several practices including an orthopaedic referral practice in Worcester. Vicky is also one of our clinical coaches for our student nurses and enjoys the teaching aspect of her job as well as the nursing side.

Carly qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2004 after completing a degree in veterinary nursing at Hartpury college. She has worked in small animal practice ever since. Her interests include surgical and theatre nursing. She spent 9 years working in an orthopaedic referral practice and enjoys nursing orthopaedic cases.

In practice, Meg enjoys consultations especially weight clinics, and inpatient care. In her spare time, Meg enjoys baking, walking her dogs in the countryside and showing her Pointers all around the country

Charlotte started working for Vale Veterinary Group as a kennel assistant after completing 4 weeks work experience and then went on to enrol as a Student Veterinary Nurse. Charlotte qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in April 2019. Charlotte's main interests lie in in patient care and emergency and critical care. Charlotte has a Border Collie Blu and two rabbits Frank and Ziggy Stardust.

I studied Veterinary Nursing with Small Animal Rehabilitation and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2021. I have been working at Vale Veterinary Group since I qualified. My interests lie in laboratory work, small animal surgical nursing and anaesthesia, as well as patient care. Outside of work my main passion is the gym, anything outdoors and I also enjoy spending time with my very energetic miniature Jack Russell Cookie.

Outside work my time is predominately taken up with Tachie & Blaney, my very active Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever’s that I try to tire out with agility, flyball and long walks.

In her spare time Donna enjoys walking , mountain bilking and kayaking on the River Severn . Donna is also involved in raising money for charities associated with animals or the elderly.

In May 2005 he joined the Vale Veterinary Group, effectively coming home having seen practice here for many years, first as a school pupil and then as a university student. Coming from London via Cambridge, Somerset and the Wirral, I find myself settled in Worcestershire, enjoying the countryside with my 4 cats and concentrating on the small animal patients at the Vale Vet Group. I am passionate about theatre, whiskey and travel. I recently achieved a lifetime’s ambition by reaching the top of Mount Kilimanjaro.

My partner is also a vet and works in 2 local practices. We have three children who take up most of our own time. When I can snatch the odd free hour, I enjoy making things from leather and wood.

I joined the Stourport Practice in January 2012 as a student nurse after working for a local dog rescue, I have completed my training and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in March 2015. I like the variety of patients that we get to see in a mixed practice, and I also enjoy the challenges of intensive care nursing. At home I have a boxer dog called Dukey who keeps me on my toes.

Having previously worked at our Stourport practice until 2010, I returned to Vale Vets in July 2014 mainly based at Kidderminster practice as a receptionist. At home I have two Kune Kune pigs called Rhubarb and Custard, chickens, a rabbit called Tetley and a young Boxer dog called Jax so with the rest of my spare time I enjoy walking, swimming and going to the cinema.
